Parmalat Nata and Chili Jam Puffed Pastry

Equipment: Fork, spoon, brush, baking sheet, parchment paper, mixing bowl, sifter or strainer.

 

Ingredients:
1 package of pre-rolled puff pastry (Makes 8 pastries)

1 container of Parmalat Nata
1 cup of chili jam of favorite filling

2 eggs

¼ cup of powdered sugar

 

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees
  • Remove pre-rolled puff pastry from packaging.
  • Lightly cover with flower and coat rolling pin with flower.
  • With the rolling pin thin out the puff pastry.
  • Cut the rolled out pastry into 8 equal rectangular shapes.
  • Add a dollop of Parmalat Nata to one side of each pastry.
  • Add an equal amount of chili jam to each pastry.
  • Fold over empty side of pasty to cover nata and jam.
  • With a fork, press all the edges of the pastry
  • Place parchment paper on baking sheet
  • Place pastries on parchment paper evenly spaced out
  • Bake pasties on center rack of pre-heated oven for 15 to 20 minutes
  • Cover pastries in light coating of powdered sugar
  • Serve and enjoy.
